Heungdong Kwon is an Assistant Professor in the School of Mechanical Engineering at Kyung Hee University. He earned his Ph.D./M.S. in ME from Stanford University and his B.S. in ME and EE from Yonsei University. He leads research on the development of scalable, high-performance, and energy-efficient thermal management technologies for densely packed micro-systems. His research group explores nano/micro-scale thermal conduction within electronics packaging and specializes in the design of next-generation heat sinks and cooling system, utilizing advanced thermal characterization techniques, nano/micro-fabrication techniques, and multi-physics modeling. In his free time, he enjoys weightlifting and watching K-dramas.
