Heungdong Kwon is an Assistant Professor in the School of Mechanical Engineering at Kyung Hee University. He earned his Ph.D. and M.S. in Mechanical Engineering from Stanford University and his B.S. from Yonsei University. He leads research on the development of scalable, high-performance, and energy-efficient thermal management technologies for densely packed micro-systems. His research group explores nano/micro-scale thermal conduction within electronics packaging and specializes in the design of next-generation heat sinks and cooling system, utilizing advanced thermal characterization techniques, nano/micro-fabrication techniques, and multi-physics modeling. In his free time, he enjoys weightlifting and watching K-dramas.
